Getting to the venue from the airportThe Baton Rouge (BTR) airport is the most convenient with a taxi for $25 from BTR to local hotels. The New Orleans Airport (MSY) can offer direct or cheaper flights but it is 1.5 hours away, and the shuttle (below) averages $140 each way so factor that in. We also give a public transport option for MSY-BTR below but it is not convenient. The primary routes to BTR itself are:
- DFW-BTR (American Airlines)
- HOU-BTR (United Airlines)
- ATL-BTR (Delta Airlines)
You can also take an airport shuttle from either MSY or BTR. The Tiger Airport Shuttle website has more information. This shuttle must be booked in advance.
